“The Health Services Restructuring Commission (HSRC) was established in April 1996 with a four-year mandate to
- make decisions on restructuring Ontario’s public hospitals, and
- make recommendations to the Minister of Health and Long-Term Care on reinvestments in and restructuring of other parts of the health system and other changes required to support restructuring generally, and the creation of a genuine health services system in the province.
The HSRC completed its mandate and was closed March 28, 2000. This website continues as an HSRC document archive site only. It contains many of the reports generated during its four years of work.”
