During this interactive webinar, Dr. Cecilia Benoit and Dan Reist will discuss how stigma shapes sex workers’ experiences of health care. They will draw on an analysis of the findings from in-person interviews conducted in 2013 with sex workers (N=218) in six Canadian metropolitan areas. Participants will explore strategies that can be used to reduce the impact of stigma and in turn contribute to safer healthcare environments for sex workers.
