The mission of the Canadian Diabetes Association is to promote the health of Canadians through diabetes research, education, service and advocacy. CDA is currently seeking a qualified professional individual. The CDA is seeking a dynamic results oriented professional to undertake direct responsibility for professional projects. Working with expert volunteers you will prepare projects/activities related to clinical practice, care management and treatment issues for health providers and consumers relating to diabetes. Establishing external partnerships, i.e. with industry and government, you support collaborative initiatives. You will also undertake appropriate research activities to support project-related activities as required.
The successful candidate will have a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in health sciences with at least 5 years working experience in a diabetes-related field and health care team environment. Your excellent written and verbal communication skills along with your ability to take initiative and work independently are definite assets.
