Seniors' Education Centre

From the website: "The Seniors' Education Centre is a partnership between the Seniors' University Group Inc. and Centre for Continuing Education, University of Regina. The Centre, founded in July 1977, provides over 100 older adult education programs in Regina and a variety of learning opportunities for and with seniors (age 55 and over) in several rural communities.

The Centre conducts applied research and community development work in literacy, elder abuse, health promotion, cross-cultural/intergenerational and older women and distance education issues. It produces and makes available a variety of older adult education reports, program modules, broadcast quality videos and other educational products and processes."

The centre was involved in the Regina component of the Improving Seniors Quality of Life project (http://www.utoronto.ca/seniors).
