Canadian Mental Health Association, Metro Toronto Branch

The Metropolitan Toronto Branch provides a range of community support services to men and women with serious mental health problems, and education and mental health promotion services for all members of the community. The Metro branch is also involved in advocacy for a better mental health system.

As a non-profit charitable organization, the CMHA Metropolitan Toronto Branch works with people who have experienced mental illness or psychiatric disabilities, their families, and other members of our

community to:

- develop and provide community based support services,

- increase knowledge about mental health, mental illness, psychiatric disabilities; and

- to promote mental health

Specifically, the Metro Branch has mental health promotion programs. Some Mental Health Promotion Programs include: the Holiday Gift Program, Let's Discuss It and Penetang Bus
