The Welfare Information Network

A Clearinghouse for Information, Policy Analysis and Technical Assistance on Welfare Reform

The Welfare Information Network (WIN) is a foundation funded project to help states and communities obtain the information, policy analysis, and technical assistance they need to develop and implement welfare reforms that will reduce dependency and promote the well-being of children and families. The WIN web site is updated weekly and serves as a vehicle for disseminating information in the WIN clearinghouse. The site summarizes the information and technical assistance resources available in some 40-45 program and issue areas, including "Community-based strategies and collaborative efforts".
