KFL&A Public Health is a local public health agency with over 200 staff and 150 volunteers who deliver public health programs and services to the people of the KFL&A area.  There is an immediate opening for a full-time Learning & Organizational Development Specialist, Human Resources within the Corporate Services Division.

The Learning & Organizational Development Specialist, Human Resources will support the agency’s strategic direction to invest in a healthy and supportive work environment and to build organizational capacity through focusing on human resources programs including training and development, leadership development, performance management, change management and employee engagement. The Learning and Organizational Development Specialist is responsible for the needs assessment, design, evaluation and administration of agency training and development, and will collaborate with the Human Resources Officer and the management team to assess, develop, plan and lead the implementation of change initiatives and strategies to support the strategic direction of the agency.

The successful candidate will have a University degree with specialization in adult education, social sciences, or related field or suitable equivalent and completion of a Master’s program in Adult Education, Organizational Development, Human Resources, Psychology or related field, or suitable equivalent. Change Management Designation, formalized adult education training or certification and certification in various programs such as NVCI, MBTI, and FIRO Strong are assets.
