Early Bird Registration is now open for Walk21 Calgary.
Walk21 Calgary, 19-22 September, will examine how walking fosters healthy and vibrant communities, and can encourage cities to become more resilient and sustainable in the wake of rapid urban growth.
Register now, before prices go up on 1 August. Discounted rates for students, seniors, and NGOs are available.
Walk21 welcomes citizens, academics, urban planners, health care professionals, and community leaders to join the discussion on planning and designing our urban walkable futures.
The Walk21 Calgary conference program features keynote and plenary sessions, symposia, breakout presentations and walkshops in downtown and suburban Calgary. Delegates will experience Calgary’s emerging walkability, and be exposed to new ideas about how walking can connect people and communities. The conference will reflect on the lessons of the past, create new knowledge and examine social dynamics to build momentum for the new walking city.
