Applications are invited for a temporary, full-time post-doctoral fellow (5 days per week for 1 year) with experience and interest in vocational rehabilitation for young people with disabilities. This fellow will work with a Senior Scientist and multi-disciplinary research teams in the Bloorview Research Institute (fully affiliated with the University of Toronto), TRAIL lab and other partners and organizations.
This post-doctoral fellow will contribute to a research program focused on improving inclusion and employment for people with disabilities. The fellow will contribute to several projects including a CIHR-SSHRC funded project, 'Partners for enhancing healthy and productive work for young men and women with disabilities; and SSHRC-funded e-mentoring for youth with disabilities.
This position requires someone with experience in qualitative and quantitative research and effective skills knowledge translation skills. The candidate will be responsible for developing their own related research related to improving inclusion of young people with disabilities in the workforce, contributing to the work of the team and providing assistance with the supervision of students.
