Want to make a difference? Interested in using sport, recreation, & physical activity to make a positive change in your community? Attend ACTIVATE Northwest to find out how!
Motivate Canada and a team of Youth Trainers from Naicatchewenin First Nation will bring together some of the most promising Aboriginal youth leaders from across Northwestern Ontario in a youth-friendly environment where they can learn, share, and become inspired and empowered to make a positive change in their community. The Youth Trainers will facilitate an comprehensive series of workshops and activities on topics such as leadership, networking, physical literacy, and project planning, that will develop the delegates’ skills and prepare them to act as ACTIVATORS in their community and to implement a physical activity initiative of their own (ACTIVATE in Action project).
