Deadline September 6, 2012
All ten Aboriginal Health Access Centres are members of the Association of Ontario Health Centres (AOHC); some have been members since as early as 1999. AOHC advocates strongly and effectively for AHAC needs, programs, services and necessary adaptations for funding and program/service delivery.
AOHC is looking for a Consultant (Project Lead) to deliver a project from September 2012 to March 31, 2013 which will support the Aboriginal Health Access Centres (AHACs) in strengthening their capacity and resources for program planning and evaluation in order to improve the development, implementation and impact of health promotion initiatives funded by the Health Promotion Division, Ministry of Health and Long-term Care.
This project requires the expertise of a Consultant who has an excellent understanding of AHACs, experience working with Aboriginal populations and a strong facilitation and coordination capacity to oversee the project.
In addition, this project will be supported by a research institute/centre with experience in research among Aboriginal communities and proven experience in program evaluation and indicator development to carry on these activities.
RFP and detailed application instructions can be found at http://www.aohc.org/index.php?ci_id=11448&la_id=1.
