Optimizing Prenatal HIV Testing for African & Caribbean Women

You are invited to a free community forum hosted by Women's Health in Women's Hands, Community Health Centre (WHIWH-CHC).

Date:       Friday, August 20, 2010 from 9:30 to 4:00 p.m

Location: Dalla Lana School of Public Health, University of Toronto, 6th Floor, 155 College Street (College & McCaul St - West of University Avenue).

Purpose: To bring together researchers, clients, policy makers, public health advocates, service providers and community members to:

  • Exchange information on the Ontario Prenatal HIV Testing Program
  • Share research findings on the experiences of African, Caribbean and Black women with HIV testing in Ontario during pregnancy
  • Develop strategies to improve HIV testing among African, Caribbean and Black women
