Programs Director and Intervention Manager, Action Positive: HIV/AIDS

Full time permanent position: 37.5h/week

Action Positive: HIV/AIDS is the only non-profit Aids Service Organization dedicated exclusively to supporting and educating French-speaking people and communities in Toronto who are living with, are affected by or are at risk of acquiring HIV/AIDS. Action Positive offer services primarily, but not exclusively, to gay, bisexuals, transsexuals, transgender men, and men who have sex with other men (GBTTMsM).

Action Positive is seeking a qualified, experienced and dynamic person for this position who will take responsibility for the direction of programs and intervention, as well as organizational development and administration. This person will be in charge of the organizations planning, implementation, management and development, in partnership with the AIDS Committee of Toronto (ACT).

The ideal candidate holds a university degree in health, social or community services or the equivalent. He or she has at least two (2) years of experience working with APVS primary service users (GBTTMsM) and managing an organization or community program.

Salary grid: form $55 000 to $ 70 000 based on training and experience.
