Call for Applications--Women Mentoring Women for Inclusive Leadership, OWHN

The Ontario Women’s Health Network (OWHN) is currently accepting applications for the Women Mentoring Women for Inclusive Leadership Program. This program will support not-for-profit organizations to foster mentoring between staff with the goal of increasing the inclusion of women in leadership opportunities.

Call for Participation--Exploring the Youth Hubs Model with Youth and Family Members, Youth Wellness Hubs Ontario

Sections: 

The province of Ontario is committed to improving services for young people through integrated youth service hubs. These hubs will be places where young people aged 12-25 can receive walk-in, one stop access to mental health and addictions services, as well as other social and employment supports under one roof.
 
Youth Wellness Hubs Ontario (YWH-O) is hosting three service hub planning days with youth and family members in Northern communities to help us learn more about:

What’s Your Recipe for a Better Food System? Food Secure Canada Community Engagement Events

What’s Your Recipe for a Better Food System? community engagement events are an opportunity for you and your community to provide input for A Food Policy for Canada. Food Secure Canada members are invited to host these events across Canada. Make sure that your voice is heard by hosting or participating in an event!

What: A gathering of diverse communities to talk about what A Food Policy for Canada could do to improve the lives of Canadians and to build more healthy, sustainable, just, and economically viable food systems.

When: Between July 15 to September 30, 2017.

Call for Input—Dad Directory, Dad Central Ontario

New resources for frontline health and social service providers on the reduction of STBBI-related stigma, CPHA

Sections: 

In an effort to support frontline service providers in the provision of sexually transmitted and blood-borne infection (STBBI)-related services in Canada, CPHA is pleased to release a number of tools that focus on the individual and organizational factors required to enhance services and reduce STBBI-related stigma, and ultimately improve health outcomes for those affected by or living with STBBIs.
