This webinar will explain key concepts of gender inclusivity and gender inclusive language and will provide an overview of the importance of gender inclusivity in health care. Health Quality Ontario (HQO) recognizes the importance of supporting gender inclusivity in health care settings and, as a result, is developing internal best practice guidelines regarding gender inclusive language. Its initiative builds on recent work by the Society of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists of Canada and the Canadian Association of Midwives.
