ITC Europe Project Manager

Master's degree in psychology, health studies or other behaviour science programs, or equivalent combination of education and experience in the area of public health or health research.  Experience in the area of tobacco control is considered an asset.  Proven ability to assist in the planning, implementation and management of complex projects.  Previous experience with budget development, project management and strategic planning essential.  Exceptional interpersonal and communication (both oral and written) skills are required to liaise effectively with diverse research teams, international colleagues and graduate students.   Fluency in French and/or German is a strong asset.  Demonstrated ability to work with products such as MSWord, Excel and Power Point.  Working knowledge of MS Project is considered an asset.  Must be willing to travel within North America and internationally, and work flexible hours as required - particularly to attend international teleconferences outside of usual work day hours.  This is a half- time position, contingent upon research funding.  It is presently expected to be funded for 2 years.  There is also a strong possibility this position will become full-time.
