Position Summary

The Program Training and Consultation Centre (PTCC) is a resource centre of the Smoke-Free Ontario Strategy that provides training and consultation services to professionals working in tobacco control in Ontario. A Health Promotion Specialist is required to lead the development and implementation of a knowledge exchange process for identifying and disseminating better practices in tobacco control, to increase evidence-informed decision making in the Smoke-Free Ontario Strategy. The Health Promotion Consultant will report to the Manager, PTCC and will work closely with the Ontario Tobacco Research Unit (OTRU).

Qualifications Include

Completion of a Masters degree in health, psychology or a related area and at least three years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience and knowledge of health promotion, public health theory/practice and tobacco control in Ontario.
