The Ontario Women's Health Network, in partnership with the Ontario Prevention Clearinghouse, the Asset Mapping Research Project of the Toronto Christian Resource Centre, Toronto Public Health, Sudbury Women's Centre, India Rainbow Community Services of Peel and Region of Peel, Peel Public Health Department, is proud to announce the launch of Key to Women's Health: A Health Promotion Framework to Prevent Stroke Among Marginalized Women.

The report is the one of the products of the "Marginalized Women, Inclusion and Stroke" research project carried out in 2006. Current ways of providing knowledge on stroke care to women have not resulted in information that is accurate or usable for marginalized women. The project intended to come up with a framework that would change this, primarily by using inclusion research to ask marginalized women themselves, in Sudbury, Peel and Downtown Toronto, what changes needed to be made.
