Women’s Studies/Health Sciences, University of Western Ontario

The University of Western Ontario invites applications for a full-time,
probationary (tenure track) joint appointment between the Department of
Women's Studies and Feminist Research and the Bachelor of Health
Sciences Program. The position is at the rank of Assistant Professor to
begin July 1, 2007.
Candidates must have a PhD completed, or be in the final stages of
completion of the thesis, in a feminist interdisciplinary area and show
evidence of strong research potential and excellence in teaching. The
successful applicant will have a feminist, interdisciplinary Social
Science background with expertise in the gendered nature of the social
determinants of women's health.
The appointment is shared between the Department of Women's Studies and
Feminist Research, (which is part of both the Faculty of Arts and
Humanities and the Faculty of Social Science) and the Faculty of Health
