Research Assistant, Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Toronto
6 month contract, part-time, flexible hours
Working under the direction of the Project Coordinator, the incumbent
will be involved in a Medication Management service research study
delivered to seniors in a supportive housing program located in the
Region of Peel.
Responsibilities
- Coding and entering data
- Performing qualitative and quantitative data analysis and managing databases
- Preparing and/or writing reports
- Performing literature and database searches
- Administrative duties pertaining to the research, such as,
ensuring study records are maintained, securely stored, and backed up
appropriately - Assisting project coordinator as needed
Qualifications
- University degree with a background in research methodology
and/or statistics or equivalent combination of education and
experience. Education or experience in gerontology, health care, and/or
social sciences is an asset. - Proficient use of SPSS and Excel
- Demonstrated ability to perform statistical analysis
- Strong computer skills
- Attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy
- Excellent analytical and organizational skills
- Excellent writing skills
- Sound judgment; proven ability to work independently and as a team member
- Ability to work within and adjust to shifting timelines
Salary: Dependent on experience.
