The Better Practices Toolkit is an electronic, searchable database of
"promising" and "recommended" tobacco control programs and resources
that can be used in your community. The Toolkit is designed to help
health practitioners in Ontario make the best use of limited resources.
Communities do not need to spend time or money developing their own
programs, interventions, or resources. Programs that meet your tobacco
control programming needs and that are demonstrated to be effective
after undergoing an expert review assessment process can be found at
PTCC is requesting your help to build the inventory of programs in the
Better Practices Toolkit. Please forward your favourite programs using
the on-line nomination form at
http://www.ptcc-cfc.on.ca/bpt/bpt-nominate.cfm by November 18, 2005, so
that it can undergo the Better Practices Review process!
