The Canadian Network for the Prevention of Elder Abuse

From their website:

"Sensitive not only to the uniqueness of individuals but also to the diversity of Canadian seniors in race, culture, religion, language, abilities and sexual orientation, the network seeks to prevent abuse of seniors by:

* Informing, and raising people's awareness of the issues, resources, and implications of abuse of older persons

* Sharing information

* Educating and training in the identification of abuse of older persons

* Stimulating research into abuse, neglect and exploitation of older adults

* Collaborating on development of tools that increase individual and societal capacity to advocate for the cessation of abuse and neglect of older persons

* Facilitating review of public policy."
