Health, Work and Wellness Institute

"The Health, Work & Wellness Institute of Canada is a national, non-profit membership organization founded in the Spring of 1999. The organization is governed by a member elected board of directors and managed by an Executive Director. The development of the Institute is a direct result of a need identified by the delegates of the Health, Work & Wellness Conference. This conference was created in 1997 as an annual forum for sharing of ideas and heightening awareness among organizations in Canada on workplace wellness.

In addition to organizing the annual Health, Work and Wellness Conference, the Institute's mission is to;

- provide a forum and network for sharing of ideas about workplace wellness,

- educate the public on health and wellness in the workplace.

- increase awareness and promote health and wellness in the workplace for the purpose of enhancing the physical, mental, social, spiritual and emotional well-being of employees at organizations throughout Canada."
