Health Behaviour and Health Education: Theory, Research and Practice.

(2002). 3rd Edition. San Francisco: Jossey Bass.

The second of two resources that provided much of the background for The Use of Theory in Heart Health Promotion: What it can (and cannot tell us) by Jennifer Poole. In that document, Jennifer notes that this document "is longer [than The Use of Social Theory] and unfortunately has no Canadian contributors. However, it is an up to date overview of what the editors call the top theories in health behaviour and health education right now."
