National Drowning Prevention Day

National Drowning Prevention Day is a Lifesaving Society initiative designed to draw attention to the drowning problem across Canada and to educate the public in safe behaviour in, on and around the water. Individuals, businesses, aquatic facilities and branches of the Lifesaving Society will be participating in National Drowning Prevention Day in all provinces across Canada on July 27th, with a variety of events, displays and information available to bring water safety awareness to the nation.
