Deadline August 18, 2017
The Gay Men's Sexual Health Alliance is soliciting proposals for its 2017 Skills Building Symposium. This annual event brings together staff of community based HIV/AIDS service organizations, policy makers, community members and researchers to learn best practices and increase their capacity to provide sexual health services locally.
The symposium will take place October 23/24 2017 at the DoubleTree Hilton Hotel in Downtown Toronto. The GMSH is particularly interested in proposals that address gay men's sexual health and holistic wellness, service navigation approaches and combination HIV prevention. This year's symposium is taking place at an opportune time with the release of Ontario's new HIV Strategy (http://www.health.gov.on.ca/en/pro/programs/hivaids/oach_strategy.aspx?m...) and a new GMSH Strategic Plan (http://www.gmsh.ca/about-the-gmsh/news/~102-Announcing-Our-New-Strategic...).
Submissions can include: panels, workshops, research briefs, and community initiatives.
