Function:

As a member of the Quality Management Partnership Team, the Evaluation Specialist will advance the Early Quality Initiatives developed by the Quality Management Partnership by coordinating the evaluation of clinical tools and guidelines. The incumbent will serve as a subject matter expert on evaluation for the Partnership and CPSO. They will also be involved in supporting the Partnership’s program evaluation and quality reporting as needed.

Responsibilities:

  • Conducts jurisdictional scans, current state assessments and literature reviews
  • Scopes and develops evaluation frameworks, including logic models and evaluation matrices
  • Collects, analyzes and reports results which involve writing and effectively displaying information in various formats for various audiences
  • Formulates best practice recommendations for the Quality Management Partnership
  • Synthesizes evidence and data so it is useful to College Council, committees and staff for program improvement
  • Collaborates and manages relationships within CPSO and with its partner, CCO as well as members of the medical profession, and health system stakeholders
  • Develops written and oral presentations, summaries and reports for College Council, Committees and staff

Qualifications:

  • Minimum academic qualification is at a Masters level in health sciences, health education or a related field
  • Minimum three to five years’ experience in program evaluation, project management and group facilitation with internal and external partners
  • Demonstrated experience with qualitative and quantitative evaluation
  • Strong written and oral skills for the use in development of oral presentations, summaries, and reports
  • Credentialed Evaluator (CE) an asset
