The Learning through Evidence, Action and Reflection Networks (LEARN) project is a partnership between tobacco control practitioners engaged in the Smoke-Free Ontario strategy and PTCC. The LEARN project’s goal is to cultivate and facilitate knowledge exchange across the province and to enable efficient coordination of capacity building activities.

A number of educational experiences and activities are on offer including a Foundations of Communities of Practice workshop offered twice a year. This is an excellent workshop for people interested in learning about how to support CoPs.

Ontario Knowledge Transfer and Exchange Community of Practice

A community of practice for practitioners interested in knowledge transfer and exchange. The CoP began in 2006 and meets 4 – 6 times a year in Toronto (teleconference often available for others across the province). An Ottawa chapter was recently launched.
