Contract Position: 1 year, part-time, with possibility of extension

Adolescent’s Family Support Services of Niagara (AFSSN) has an exciting opportunity for a part-time (10 hour per week) Registered Dietitian to work within Healthy from the Start, Canada Prenatal Nutrition Program (CPNP).

The successful candidate will share responsibility for the planning, implementation and evaluation of Healthy from the Start programming. to promote and implement healthy eating and nutrition during pregnancy, and selecting, developing, revising and evaluating prenatal nutritional education resources. Population health principles will be applied to develop resources and deliver programs specific to prenatal and postnatal participants.

Candidates must have current registration with the College of Dietitians of Ontario, along with knowledge and skills in health promotion strategies. Excellent interpersonal, communication, presentation and organizational skills required. Flexible work hours, along with a valid Ontario driver’s license and own transportation to travel within the region.
