15 November 2007 - OHPE Bulletin 541, Volume 2007, No. 541

This week's feature article is from Glenn French, President of The Canadian Initiative on Workplace Violence. Workplace bullies create a tremendous liability for the employer by causing stress-related health and safety problems. That was the clear message given to attendees at the Seventh Annual Workplace Wellness Conference, hosted by the Workplace Wellness Program of York Region Community and Health Services, at Cardinal Golf Club during Canada's Healthy Workplace Week. The conference titled "Bullying in the workplace: What every business needs to know" drew a capacity crowd of over 120 business representatives from across York Region and beyond. Glenn French was the keynote speaker and shares his expertise in handling a growing concern for many businesses across Canada.
